Hi, I'm Jon
Senior Wealth Analyst
I work alongside individuals and business owners to help align their finances with their goals. To me, money has always been a way to support the things you value. I don’t see it as the finish line, but rather as a tool that lets you say “yes” to your priorities. When we manage those resources well, it clears the path so you can focus on what’s actually important, whether that’s your family, your community, or simply the peace of mind to enjoy new experiences.
I enjoy financial planning because of the clarity it brings. I see the relief when clients move from “I hope we’re okay” to “I know where we stand.” I help you navigate the complexities of your financial life to empower you to focus on what matters most.
I started my career as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) at a large public accounting firm, which gave me a great look at how businesses run across many different industries. For nearly a decade, I’ve focused on wealth management, helping entrepreneurs and retirees navigate their own financial paths. I also have experience running a small business in the collectibles market. That venture gave me firsthand experience with the day-to-day nuances of what business owners face, and it helps me understand the importance of being proactive when planning.
I live in Bloomington with my wife, Brenna, and our Golden Retriever, Knox. When I’m not in the office, I’m usually looking for the next place to travel or spending time with friends and family. During the summer, you can usually find me on the softball field or golfing with Brenna.
Favorite Hike: Sapphire Point Overlook in Colorado. This trail is a favorite of mine because it is where Brenna and I got engaged and married.
Bucket List Travel Destination: Japan. We’ve been once, but we’re already planning another trip to explore some of the places we didn’t get to see the first time around.
